PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform functional duties as the Primary System/Administrator Analyst (SA/A).
- Perform specific duties required in COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series of NALCOMIS, AV3M, SCIR, and NAVFLIRS as referenced.
- Maintain and administer user access and security to the OOMA application.
- Maintain data integrity of the OOMA application.
- Support the OOMA application detachments, to include the preparation of the initial detachment data load as well as the corresponding data augments, returns, and sweeps from and to the detachment servers.
- Must have working knowledge of MAP, Maintenance Reports, and SCIR as referenced in COMNAVAIRFORNAVIST 4790.2 Series.
- Must have in depth operational knowledge of the Naval Aviation MDS reporting procedure and applicable reports.
- Develops data for the 3M Summary.
- Coordinate Server / Application maintenance.
- Identify user problems and submit NALCOMIS TRs/CPs, SMTS to SPAWARSYSCEN Norfolk, VA, per OMA-SAM and TYCOM directives.
- Maintain and contribute to an effective Quality Management System meeting the requirements of AS9110/ISO 9001.
- Collect, collate and analyze maintenance data in support of Quality Assurance and Maintenance Management Programs, trend analysis requirements, and the day to day management of the NALCOMIS maintenance system.
- Provide analytical reports of aircraft material condition, utilization, maintenance workload, manpower utilization, failure trends, and other reports as required.
- Verify RFT and SCR data with regard to Aircraft Performance and Scheduling (APAS).
- Develop ADHOC Reports. Must be able to collect data and generate clear, concise specialty reports as requested.
- Must be customer oriented.
- Submit and coordinate the submission of trouble tickets (SMTS) to SPAWAR.
- Submit and coordinate the submission of baseline change requests (BTR’s) to JDRS.
- Submit and coordinate the submission of server / application help requests to CNATRA N6.
- Coordinate and schedule all system non availability.
- Create OOMA user accounts.
- Administer Application SMQS both O-Level and I-Level.
- Establish and maintain system log, recording all down time, hardware failures, and all other system requirements established in the OMA-SAM
- Maintain familiarity with the operation of all NALCOMIS hardware assigned.
- Coordinate all Work Order delete actions with Maintenance Control to ensure all related actions are accomplished, for example, duplicate Work Orders.
- Train and support to MDS/NALCOMIS OOMA users.
- Guide and direct assistant personnel.
- Provide management with analytical reports on aircraft material condition and utilization, maintenance workload, manpower utilization, failure trends, and other reports.
- Collect, screen, forward all Maintenance Data information.
- Build Data Sets for detachments, create and process data augments, returns, and sweeps for detachments.
- Provide charts, graphs, and displays for presentations as required.
- Shift work and weekend duty required.
- Must have mathematical computation ability.
- Must be skilled in typing to the level of 30 words per minute.
- Must have and display operational knowledge of computers, computer peripherals, applicable software and other office equipment, including communication devices.
- Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.
- Efficient entry of electronic data entry.

- Assist management in determining specific requirements for new types of data reports necessary to support the maintenance effort.
- Ensure all systems of the MDS are documented as outlines in, NALCOMIS and COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series to include Maintenance Reports, AV3M, SCIR, and NAVFLIRS.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and assist in maintaining cleanliness of work center.
- Responsible for adherence to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
- Maintain control and inventory of all equipment normally used in the work associated with this classification.
- Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities and job assignment.
- Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
- Responsible for adhering to the Company Tool Control Program.
- Assist when directed to ensure safety, security and preservation of Government owned and Company owned equipment.
- Makes corrections on documentation or ensures corrections of data.
- May be required to travel via military and/or commercial air/ground in support of recovery missions, training detachments, hurricane evacuations, or other off-site support.
- Must be able to interface with Government Representatives.
- Maintains the highest ethical personal and professional standards.
- Other projects and initiatives as assigned.
POSITION SCOPE AND CHARTER
Six (6) years documented hands on general and four (4) years specialized experience in collecting, servicing, and providing analytical reports or data such as aircraft/ component material condition, utilization, and workload trends.
Must have experience working with NALCOMIS MDCS reporting procedures and numerous analytical reports.
Must have working knowledge of OOMA Application Administration requirements and procedures. NALCOMIS System Analyst course (C-555-0049) required.
Working Knowledge of relational databases (SYBASE, ORACLE).
Must be able to qualify to operate/maintain the company network system within 180 days of hire.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Must be able to work weekends, other shifts and overtime as required.

- Some travel will be required.
- Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

This classification activity is usually accomplished in an office like environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with office activities. May occasionally be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 30 pounds.
