Responsible for ensuring that all accounting, compliance, and audit activities in the Income Audit, Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting (FinPAR), Accounts Receivable, Cage, and Count departments are performed effectively and efficiently and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Railroad Pass Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.
- Must have 2 years minimum Casino experience
- Develops, trains, advises, and supports the employees of Income Audit, FinPAR, Accounts Receivable, Cage, and Count Operations.
- Oversees day-to-day functions of Income Audit, FinPAR, Accounts Receivable, Cage, and Count Operations and directs the development and revision of departmental policies and procedures.
- Directs the timely and accurate reporting of the operating results of the company.
- Ensures the integrity of all financial data produced by employees under his/her span of control.
- Monitors all financial activities on property to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, Federal and State governments and taxing authorities, and the Gaming Commission.
- Reviews all journal entries and supporting documentation prepared by Income Audit staff; enters and posts entries as needed; reviews daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Responsible for managing the oversight of all financial analysis, budgetary and statistical assignments, projects and studies for the company.
- Responsible for the oversight of all financial activities related to the Accounts Receivable function within the Finance Department in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls.

- Implement the protection and loss prevention philosophies of Senior Management.
- Partners with operations managers to ensure department systems and tools are used to drive overall efficiency.
- Acts as an internal consultant on all performance management issues.
- Works with the independent auditors of the company and ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), minimum internal control standards, Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) announcements.
- Evaluates performance and progress in the Income Audit, FinPAR, Accounts Receivable, Cage, and Count divisions of the Finance department, adjusting performance standards and procedures as needed.
- Acts as a liaison to internal auditors, Gaming Commission staff, Nevada Gaming Control Board, IRS, and other regulators.
- Acts as the designated Title 31 Compliance Officer for Railroad Pass Casino.
- Ensures a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction, in the financial aspect of the business, is achieved and maintained.
- Held accountable, to a very high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Assist in other duties and projects as assigned.
