Job Details Description
This fantastic dining location allows our guests to dine inside the clubhouse or to enjoy meal on its outdoor dining terrace. Menu items include a contemporary selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and tempting desserts.
Essential Duties:
- Welcomes guests with hospitality and courtesy by meeting, greeting and seating them as they arrive for meals.
- Maintains a waiting list.
- Operates register to handle cash and charge transactions for restaurant facilities.
- Provides consistent quality accounting for all guest checks.
- Assists in stocking and maintaining retail space in restaurant. Balances work at the end of shift.
- Performs other duties as required to exceed guests' expectations.
- Helps expedite smooth, efficient and timely turnover of dining room tables.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age according to Virginia Code ยง 4.1-307
- Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Very good math and oral communication skills
- Ability to (1) accurately handle large sums of money under pressure; (2) interact well with guests and co-workers; (3) maintain standards listed below
