Job Grade:

Summary:

Responsible for cutting and fitting foam and wood into the molds

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are not limited to:

· Read production drawings; perform QC checks to ensure proper mold setup / dimensions are correct

· Properly cut and fit core materials for each part

· Safely operate all tools and machinery

· Maintain Core manual for measurements and construction details for various components and parts

· Maintains tools, equipment and work area

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Carpentry, hand and power tool experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

Certified Composites Technician (CCT) desired.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Maintains accurate records and data. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units on a measuring tape and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to read a tape measure and subtract or add fractions to 1/16 of an inch.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
