Job Summary Skills Work Experience License/Registration/Certification Education and Training
Responsible for conveying the purposes and services of El Paso Health’s various lines of business to members and potential members. Serves as a liaison for health plan members who need assistance obtaining covered services, accessing local community resources, and understanding internal health plan processes. Assists with the planning, assessment, development, implementation, and coordination of El Paso Health’s health education initiatives to members and potential members. Serves as the lead person to ensure that the Outreach Coordinators are meeting all performance benchmarks and issue resolution standards to promote overall member satisfaction with the health plan. The position requires special emphasis on department workflow, policies and procedures and communication with internal departments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

8. Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred (written and verbal).
Four years of experience in Medicaid and CHIP health promotion, outreach program coordination, social services and marketing including program evaluation required.
Community Health Worker Certification required within one year of being in the position. Valid State driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in Business, Health Science, Marketing or related field preferred.
