The care consultant has strong emotional intelligence and outstanding organizational, coordination, and communication skills. Applying these attributes using a high-touch and highly responsive approach, the Care Consultant is expert at applying core values, service standards, clinical knowledge and experience to develop sustained, professional, trusting relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to, all executive staff, Development Division, Board of Visitors, donors, political appointees and other specified patients and community members.
The Care Consultant maintains the highest level of confidentiality and discretion following all policies and procedures of the institution including but not limited to, conflict of interest, compliance and code of conduct.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Care Consultant manages new patient referrals from executive leadership. Leverages clinical knowledge to develop and maintain relationships. Resolves or refers issues as appropriate to ensure patient satisfaction and internal communication. Utilizes evidence-based process improvement tools and resources, develops key performance indicators (KPI's) and continually improves the efficiency of processes and satisfaction of all stakeholders.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS

This is a 24/7 position with responsibilities after business hours, as per on call schedule, with expert and seamless hand-offs required for time off or personal leave.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Theology, or other clinical field.
Experience
Required: Five years of clinical experience in licensed field, to include a minimum of one year in oncology.
License/Certification
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and one of the following:
