Car Wash Supervisor - Full time & Part time positions available

The Car Wash Supervisor reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for being the eyes and ears of management in the area they are assigned (vacuum/greeting area, tunnel/prep area, store, exit area, etc). The Supervisor should be able to open the store, close the store and act as primary point of contact for the business when other management is not on the premises.

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities:
Employees

  • Capability to perform &/or learn any of the positions staffed at the wash
  • Train new and existing employees on safety, quality and standard operating procedures
  • Accountable for overall performance of the team.
  • Assess performance and skills of all car wash employees.
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action to employees as needed to maintain standards and improve performance.
  • Schedule car wash employees according to the staffing model. Monitor hourly to ensure labor goals are met.
Building & Equipment
  • Manage overall vehicle flow and production in car wash operation.
  • Open & Close the wash and complete assigned duties associated with both wash/C-store
  • Understand wash tunnel equipment (including safety and procedures for issues)
  • Manage inventory of chemicals, towels, etc.
  • Overall area upkeep and cleanliness.
Customer Care
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the responsible party for customer, equipment and staff issues that arise when other management is not on the premises.
  • Serves as the first point of customer escalation for service-related issues, and works to reconcile customer complaints on assigned shift. Documents all complaints and communicates these to the Manager.
  • Identify and promptly resolve customer concerns and complaints.

  • Must have valid driver’s license for at least 6 months
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co workers
  • Ability to stand for more than 8 hours, walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching/squatting. Frequent to occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 20-50lbs is required.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
