Sumner Communications, Inc., is hiring immediately. We are currently looking for self-motivated, experienced sales representatives with extensive background in the cannabis industry.

We are looking for an aggressive and experienced closer to join our advertising team in Shelton, CT. As a Media Sales Representative, you will generate prospective customers and close sales through cold calling. You will use your knowledge of the Hemp industry to expand prospecting lists and client base. If you are motivated, entrepreneurial and can sell advertising, this is the job for you.

What you will do:

• Ideal candidate will attain and exceed sales goals by prospecting and closing new accounts.

• Create and Manage your own opportunities and territory. Use online and offline sources to cultivate new leads, develop and maintain your territory.

• Identify and build relationships to expand market penetration and increase opportunity pipeline

• Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals.

• Continue to improve sales strategies based on market research and competitor analysis

We Require:

• 2-3 years of sales/phone sales experience in the legal Hemp or CBD industry.

• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone

• Track record of success in a quota-carrying sales role focused on new business acquisition

• Excellent Communication, Presentation and Prospecting Skills.

• 2+ years Experience with selling Hemp based products legally.

• Experience with B2B direct phone sales a plus.

• Excellent Presentation and other consultative selling skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
