Central Pennsylvania is a unique geography that includes 35 colleges and universities. These campuses are embedded in dynamic cities like Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, and Reading, nestled in charming small towns like Gettysburg or Carlisle, or located deep in the rural farmland and Appalachian mountain ranges that run through this area. While some of these schools have a long history of InterVarsity, others have no campus ministry presence whatsoever. We long to see every corner of every one of these campuses reached by the good news of Jesus. InterVarsity is seeking to hire additional Campus Staff Ministers in Central PA who will establish and advance witnessing communities at one or more of these campuses. New hires will join an established team of roughly a dozen other staff and volunteers who can serve as an encouragement and support system. We are looking for staff candidates who are self-starting and flexible, get excited by taking risks and starting new things, can competently cross a variety of cultures, and who aren’t afraid of failure. All staff are expected to raise their ministry budget and will receive training and assistance to do so. Come be a part of what God is doing in Central PA!
