Hiring for the following positions:

• FT Security Ambassadors
• FT Dispatchers
• FT Mobile Patrol
• Supervisors

The responsibilities are as follows:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Actively acknowledge pedestrians with a friendly greeting or identify visitors in order to provide directions, and information pertaining to the area
• Foot patrol of interior/exterior areas of assigned locations
• Write daily reports using a mobile device as well as utilizing and mastering Track Tix security software
• Submit concise reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Monitor community and report any unusual activities or investigate
• Be able to understand and execute all post orders and other required duties
• Able to de-escalate and/or handle tense situations (e.g. disgruntled persons, disruptive behavior, redirect and reduce homelessness off property, etc.)

History

Marina Security Services is a minority-owned and operated security services and security guard business, operating using a detail-oriented approach to provide the highest quality security services and thoroughly-trained security guards for companies and public entities looking to outsource their security needs.

Marina Security was originally formed to fill a long-standing void in the parking industry: a security force that understands and supports parking operations. We have been quite successful in this, managing complex facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area, with more than 15,000 parking spaces.

We soon discovered, however, that the parking industry was not alone in its need for knowledgeable, courteous, and professional security services with deep domain expertise. Over time, Marina Security has built experience and developed that domain expertise in a wide variety of environments, such as office buildings, public spaces, retail, banks, schools, construction sites, and city and county governments. This experience allows us to not only meet the requirements of large-scale client engagements, but also the smaller ones, such as a warehouse needing a watchman to guard their facility.

• Must have 1 year Security Experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Has a current valid CA Guard Card
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
• Loves overtime and is available for all if not most shifts weekends included.
