C# and MS SQL Server application programmer/developer for ISV

Salary:

$75K to $110K Depending on experience

Summary:

We are looking for a for C# developer to join our team. Our product is C# WinForms, LINQ to SQL, MS SQL Server, with reports in client side MS SQL Reports. There are also some web services and some web applications in ASP.NET MVC 5.

Work from home, flexible hours, relaxed work environment and minimal supervision.

• Long-term full-time 1099 contract with potential to hire as full-time employee

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Tier-2 support. Serve as liaison between the customer support and development teams. Troubleshoot to evaluate root causes of problems. Determine whether issues are caused by bugs or customer networks / settings. Create and implement simple bug fixes, working under supervision of the lead developer. Refer complex bugs or issues to lead developer for resolution.
• Code new features. Create code for new features per design documents.
• Complete special projects, as assigned. This might include research, documentation, refactoring and testing.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent work related experience

· 2+ years C# programming experience

· 2+ years Microsoft SQL Server

· Highly self-motivated, integrity, ethical, ability to work with minimal supervision

Helpful skills/knowledge:

· Prior technical support experience

· Prior QA and testing experience

· Prior experience with “shrink wrapped” software. (i.e. commercially distributed application versus an internal use application that is only installed at one location.)

· WinForms

· LINQ

· Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (especially client-side reporting)

Candidates will be given a technical interview to evaluate their skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
