UW Medicine Supply Chain Management Strategic Sourcing has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time, BUYER 2. Under supervision of the Manager of Acquisitions, the Buyer 2 will procure equipment, supplies, and services to meet departmental needs; conduct purchasing projects involving unique services and/or technical commodities; and utilize a variety of procurement methods for multi-commodity purchases and/or procurement of products. The Buyer is accountable for all transactions within their assigned area.
UW Medicine Supply Chain Buyers are assigned to teams that support specific divisions of the hospital. There are four divisions: 1.) Patient Care Services, 2.) Surgical Services, 3.) Finance, and 4.) MRO-Maintenance, Repair, and Operations.

REQUIREMENTS
One year of experience as a professional-level buyer AND either an Associate of Arts Degree in purchasing management or a Bachelor's Degree; OR an equivalent combination of work experience and college-level training
