Job Summary

HITS' Enterprise Device Engineering and Management (EDEM) team is looking for an individual to perform analysis and documentation tasks related to the standard applications and technologies used to create, distribute, support and maintain our corporate, managed workstation products and HITS' device management.
MDM is utilized on over 30,000 client devices throughout Michigan Medicine to secure, manage, and provide application delivery services to both corporate and BYOD devices. EDEM is also responsible for the management of nearly 40,000 Windows client devices referred to as CoreImage computers used throughout Michigan Medicine and a growing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environment for specific use cases.
Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Device Engineering & Management (EDEM), you will have an essential role in gathering requirements from customer requests, documenting, and leading project management throughout the engagement. You will have experience in managing projects and creating documentation related to the management of mobile devices, both Apple iOS and Google Android. Additionally, you will have similar experience working with Apple MacOS. You will participate in EDEM's engineering projects by assisting with project management, analysis and translation of business requests into relevant technical requirements for those platforms. You will also participate in the development of supporting process, procedure and quality-assurance documentation. You will have extensive experience providing support for the operation framework of a large healthcare IT organization. You will be expected to use LEAN methodology in their approach to business analysis. You will create training materials and technical documentation for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities*

Business Analysis:
Elicit and gather user requirements for requested project efforts; act as primary representative and point-of-contact to customers for EDEM mobile device / Mac management
Translate user requirements into functional and system specifications and use-case documentation.
Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable clinical and business systems and industry requirements.
Record user and business needs; analyze current and future state user processes & workflow via shadowing, focus groups, interviews, surveys, etc., with associated documentation.
Participate in system implementations and upgrades for the MDM and Mac environments.
Collaborate with peers and Michigan Medicine staff to define and implement optimal system design and configuration.
Coordination of user acceptance testing to ensure desired requirements and workflow needs are met.
Lead large, complex, enterprise-wide clinical systems projects.
Collaborate with or lead implementation of small, medium, large operational and project enhancements.
Assist with all related project management tasks as defined and delegated.
Communicate and collaborate with business customers, business stakeholders, and managers to ensure enterprise, organization and project goals are met.
Collaborate and participate with all interrelated teams including project management, development, QA, support, training, technical, and infrastructure teams as appropriate.

Functional Support:
Understand industry standards for iOS, Android and MacOS to large enterprise use cases.
Understand use of the platforms by end users and associated workflow impact or changes.
Provide support of the above platforms for the end user community.
Participate in end-user communication, support, and training as necessary and appropriate.
Manage and prioritize functional enhancement requests to the environment.
Assist in technical problem analysis and resolution.
Create and modify functional "help" and communication documentation as necessary
Required Qualifications*

Senior Level:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of relevant experience
4+ years of relevant experience supporting mobile and MacOS devices in a large health care environment
4+ years of relevant experience performing Business Analysis tasks

Intermediate Level:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years of relevant experience
1-2 years of relevant experience supporting mobile and MacOS devices in a large health care environment
Desired Qualifications*

10+ years of IT healthcare experience that includes information system design, work flow and process analysis, change management, system interface and application integration, and peer/customer/vendor relationship management
10+ years of relevant experience supporting mobile and MacOS devices in a large health care environment
Intimate experience with Microsoft Office Productivity Suite, Microsoft Office Visio, Microsoft Office Project
Experience with LEAN methodologies & ITIL processes
Understanding of Health Care industry regulatory requirements including PHI, HIPAA
5+ years experience technical experience configuring and managing a fleet of iOS/Android devices in Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager
Work Locations

This position is being offered as a Hybrid position.? There will be times that it will be appropriate for you to work from home.? There will be other times that you will be required to work onsite for meetings, installations, and commissioning.? This position will be 80-90% remote work. May require working during non-business hours and on weekends.
