To support that challenge, the Commercial - Sales Team is currently seeking a Business Planner & Customer Service Lead in West Palm Beach, FL. As a Business Planner & Customer Service Lead you will drive the demand review and sales forecasting processes to deliver consensus sales plans by means of data-driven challenge to Sales & Marketing views on forecasts.   • Managing the Customer Service team and processes to provide an efficient and effective service aimed at continuous improvement of customer experience in the Americas.
Accountabilities
  • Sets and operationalizes the customer service-related commercial policies for the relevant geography (includes order management policies such as minimum order quantity, returns, logistics service levels, etc.)
  • Supports business analysis and insight; determines key points of strength and areas of improvement with regards to offer execution, performance, and customer account settlement
  • Accountable for the overall order book - liaises with other colleagues (Sales, Finance, Production and Supply Operations) for potential issues in the order management flow, leading the Customer Operations team activities
  • Monitors progress against overall order book metrics to direct operations towards business performance (manages credit constraints, supply allocations, short term sales targets)
  • Coordinates the complaint management process (e.g. ensuring adequate tracking and follow up of issues with the appropriate parties, reviews complaints for season, in order to identify potential improvement areas, etc)
  • Leads the sales forecasting and demand planning process to prepare, coordinate and implement the unconstrained sales forecast and agree the constrained Sales Plan in line with the global calendar
  • Facilitates sales forecasting activities, providing analytical support to guide decision-making and securing timely input to the global S&OP platform. Reports and monitors forecasting KPIs and drive local improvement initiatives
  • Articulate with Supply operations the best way to support the business form inventory strategy and seed availability standpoint
  • Leads the operational SKU management process in line with regional portfolio and supply guidance (including minimum pricing process)
  • Maintains a robust and efficient regional S&OP decision-making platform, in line with global guidelines and facilitating decision making in the markets
Reports and monitors S&OP KPIs and drive global and local improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • S&OP process understanding.
  • Experience in international logistics, supply related functions such as planning, MRP, production, processing.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience in Operations and Customer Service.
  • Must be willing to travel (10-15%)
