Position:Business Development Manager I (MGR)
Job Description:What You Will Be Doing
- Develop, manage, and create the relationship between the organization and suppliers, customers and/or vendors within their business group’s RF Connectivity (IoT, M2M, etc) technologies by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at target companies. Assist with the development and execution of strategy and business development in the East-Central region of the United States.
- Ensure execution to sales growth plans. Drive results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities.
- This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow.
- Coordinate opportunity development of both new as well as existing customers.
- Demand creation: Focus on technical needs of complex, emerging or underpenetrated prospects. Has a fundamental drive to create new opportunities and product selection within their accounts and create demand activities.
- Account management: Initiate and schedule regular visits to customer facility selling Arrows’s franchised lines. Needs to know how to translate customer needs to Arrow’s product offerings. Execute on solution selling through selling value – added, long-term solutions, with emphasis on demand creation and engineering.
- Relationships: Drive supplier and customer engineering relationships at multiple levels. Utilize distribution/rep/supplier staying current on product knowledge and or gaining technical certifications. Attend supplier training events to keep updated on current related technologies in customer base, and attend training as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function.
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
- Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager.
- Works independently: receives minimal guidance.
- Requires in – depth knowledge and experience in IoT, M2M, RF Connectivity.
- Solves complex problems, takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Contributes to process improvements.
- Typically resolves problems using existing solutions.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$148,500.00 - $181,500.00Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
