Job Summary Reporting directly to the Director of New Business, the Business Knowledge,
Development Coordinator (BDC) is responsible for seeking potential referral
opportunities by developing relationships with new leads and building upon
relationships with existing referral sources. Productivity in this role will be
measured by number of outreach interactions with referral sources. Success in
this role will be measured by overall referrals and year-over-year growth.

Building and Management – build relationships
with prospective referral sources; comfortability with cold calling/emails
Skills – ability to communicate both intelligently and
effectively with internal clinical staff, referring physician providers
and new community referral sources
– ability to position company services and
specialties as a customized solution for referral sources; identify
creative solutions in overcoming obstacles related to communication with
new prospects
and events; report any findings or feedback from external sources to
management team
sources and plan appropriate outreach; take ownership of executing both
short-term and long-term growth strategies based on company goals;
responds well to pressure in sales driven role
