How You Will Make an Impact: Our Business Development Associate drives sales revenue by prospecting continuously for new customers using consultative selling skills, closing the sale, managing customer relationships, and driven to create new relationships outside of our current client network. In this role, employees are "hunters & farmers" generating new business opportunities to fuel video Event Virtual Assistant (EVA) verticals and will spend 100% of the time on the identification of prospects on the phone or web. As part of this team, you will maintain a strong, visible corporate presence at business and community events to promote Aplusify's customer value proposition. · Tenaciously hunts for new leads driving own weekly prospecting/networking activities (events, meetings, phone calls, emails) in the pursuit of new client acquisition and brand awareness to exceed $1M annual sales growth. · Qualify leads, developing them into opportunities and closing sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas. · Develop rapport, evaluate the customer's needs, determine solutions, including upselling and cross-selling techniques as needed. · Maintain a strong, visible, virtual presence at business and community events to promote EVA's customer value proposition. Successful Candidate Qualifications: Associate degree in business, communications, or marketing with 3-5 years of relevant Business Development or Account Management sales experience. Telesales experience required. Software solutions sales experience highly preferred. Non-profit, association, and higher education sales preferred. Excellent client/customer success skills, including understanding needs, developing rapport, building relationships, and providing clients with the most comprehensive and efficient service or sales. Proven track record of successfully meeting a sales quota, preferably over the phone and web. Telesales experience highly preferred. Good negotiation skills, including gaining other's support for ideas, changes, or solutions. Experience with C-Suite and sales decision-makers a plus. IT service software solutions sales experience is required. Self-motivated, adaptable, learning agile, and a problem solver. Ability to work on diverse, cross-cultural teams. MS Office/PC skills required. Customer Relationship Management (CRM), ERP, Call Center documenting system, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, or similar tools preferred.
