Business Data Analyst (Field Service) Details

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Data Analyst will provide accounting oversight and reporting to the field service management team as well as executive management and accounting teams. They will perform project management and order entry duties for field service customer orders, interacting directly with IEM MRP systems to assist with fulfilment of field trip requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Review Expense and Revenue reports (P&L) relating to field service operations. Validate data and correlate with Field Trip Requests.

· Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and software such as Microsoft Excel

· Produces a variety of reports including billing statements, balance sheets, and labor reports

· Serve as Fleet Manager for Field Service Company Vehicles

· Track/Audit expenses; propose cost savings measures to Management

· Generate forecasts and report actual performance vs forecast, including key variance drivers.

· Assist with Months’ end Close-out Processes

· Perform Order Entry functions for service related functions.

· Work with sales and project management teams to ensure orders are entered properly and promptly to facilitate seamless reporting.

· Issue purchase orders to outside vendors for parts, services, or re-occurring Field Service expenses; Approve Invoices from vendors.

· Manage Vendor relationships

· Other related duties as assigned by Management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in related field; must include essential job functions related to accounting and data management. Previous Field Service experience, knowledge and understanding is a plus.

· Excellent working knowledge of Databases and Microsoft Excel

· Ability to interact directly with management, accounting, and sales department

· Excellent written and oral communications skills

· Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
