Come join a team where your work makes an impact every day!ABOUT THE TEAM: The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) team is building state of the art Lead Management solutions for usage on desktop, tablet, and mobile customers. The team consists of Product, Analysts, Developers and Architects building new tools and scaling existing solutions core to RealPage’s rapid growth strategy. RealPage is the largest provider of Multi-Family Real Estate software services in the world.WHAT YOUâLL DO: We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our CRM team. You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the Director of Product Management. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing, while operating in conjunction with a Product Owner in a SAFe Agile development framework. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain complex business concepts to technical stakeholders as well as complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Breaking down Epics and Features into User Stories and reviewing results with product managers.
  • Leading grooming & estimation sessions with the product development team.
  • Managing backlog prioritization to deliver features based upon business need & weighted shortest job first analysis.
  • Contributing to Spring Planning, Spring Review, and Sprint Retrospective ceremonies
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and software development advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, engineers, support agents, and operational & managerial staff.
  • Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs, operational needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Updating and maintaining procedures, product & technical specifications, customer facing API documentation, and release notes.
  • Training resources on new software features and functionalities being released to customers.
  • Serving as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders and users.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or information systems or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Advanced technical skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing top performing teams.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Project Management Experience.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Experience with SAFe Agile and Scrum
  • Previous Development or Product Experience.
