The live-in building superintendent is responsible for working with the Property Manager in the general maintenance and system operations. The building superintendent must be able to identify safety concerns and problems related to the operation of the building as a facility. The superintendent must be able to with his team, carrying out tasks in an efficient manner. He oversees the heating, plumbing and electrical systems of the building and assigns handyman to address complaints in tenants’ apartments. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Duties:

• Maintaining a safe and secure building with regard to the interior and the exterior.
• Overseeing building compliance with Administrative Building Code and New Jersey Fire Code and in curing violations.
• Maintaining boiler and other designated equipment
• Ensuring that all work orders are completed in timely fashion
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Refrigeration License (Required)

Boiler License (Required)
