Budtender/Cannabis Consultants are responsible for understanding consumer needs, communicating and educating consumers on products offered on the retail floor, providing the best, most helpful and accurate suggestions based on the aforementioned understanding of consumer information, ensuring the floor is properly stocked with products and upkeeping of the displays, providing informational tags on all products and complete product placement on the floor.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU:

We are looking for results driven retail sales associates known as Cannabis Consultants, to be responsible for all sales activities and direct-to-customer cannabis sales job duties, from a customer's first entrance to close of sale. The successful Consultant will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals as instructed by their manager(s) and most importantly, consistently exceed customer service expectations. Must be 21+ years of age.

EXPECTATIONS;

• Work during available business hours from (shift times); 8 to 40 hours per week available; mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• You will also be expected to spend time upkeeping, organizing and providing informational documents on all products available in the store above customer service expectations.

CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Expertly use Korona POS system for sales and customer + inventory information
• Practice excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintain expert level product knowledge on all new and existing products
• Thoroughly assess customer needs and provide tailored product suggestions
• Represent the goals and values of Emerald Haze customer service policies
• Cross sell and up sell products to meet established average sales goals
• Maintain a friendly professional hygienic appearance
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Team up with co-workers to ensure the best possible customer service and quickly and efficiently manage groups of individuals / high traffic sales scenarios
• Properly stock the floor with products our customers are looking for
• Upkeep all displays with up to date products and informational tags
• Upkeep of product placement on the floor to ensure full coverage of all products available to our customers as well as information tags on each product to keep the customers informed
• Follow assigned schedule and accurately reports time.

• Work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals and/or assigned tasks.
• Follow and keep up to date on all state and federal regulations regarding cannabis retail stores.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees & customers must wear a mask at all times in the store or office. Employees are required to do a temperatuure check when entering the store or office.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
