Position Summary: This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the branch retail department to ensure quality customer service is provided in a professional and courteous manner and in accordance with bank and regulatory policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for promoting the branch facility in the community with emphasis on building the deposit base and cross selling other bank products and services to expand customer relationships. Essential Functions: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the bank"s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, scheduling, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, resolving problems, and communicating necessary information on an ongoing basis. Insures that the Branch is compliant with FSWB Security Program and have the availability to respond to after hour calls which may include but is not limited to ATM Maintenance, Security System Alarms, or any other emergency situation, etc. Maintains daily logs for Negotiable Instruments and Currency Transaction Reports (CTR"s). Enforces and adheres to compliance, security, and bank regulations. Complies with and supports bank policies, procedures and goals. Overseeing daily branch sales and service efforts and ensuring achievement of branch sales and service goals. Provides administrative support to other retail and lending staff to meet the needs of the customer and assist in the sales efforts of the facility. Responds to customer demands, handles customer complaints and ensures customers satisfaction to maintain a positive public image. Encourages individual growth of employees by development of skills and expertise through personal involvement and example. Performs ongoing training, including compliance and banking regulations, as well as keeping informed of any changes to the regulations. Participates in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the bank within their market place. Makes sales calls to existing and prospective customers to increase business and ensure customer retention. Actively makes referrals to other departments. Executes all teller functions as needed. Performs Personal Banker functions as needed. Opens and closes the Branch when required. Involved in community activities as needed. Assisting in and approving customer service and teller transactions as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Education - Bachelor"s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and three years directly related banking, including supervisory experience OR Banking Experience - Minimum 5 years of directly related banking (Teller, Personal Banker, etc.), including supervisory experience. Knowledge and Skill Requirements -
Computer skills required.
