Commercial Fitness Products, Inc., one of the fitness industry's leading exercise equipment distributors, has an immediate opening for a knowledgeable, detailed-oriented individual to assist the Full Charge Bookkeeper & Outside Accountant, as well as working with the tight-knit group of staff members at our Sunrise Office/Warehouse. The responsibilities for the position will include the following:

Primary Responsibility -

Other duties -

  • Administration – data entry, incoming phone reception (light), general clerical
  • Respond to customer’s request for order & payment information
  • Communicate with customers regarding pending order delivery dates & payment
  • Support Outside Sales Representatives with quotes, as required
  • Assist in processing new orders, credit card payments
  • Assist company-wide staff with general clerical & office supply management
  • Entering invoices into Quickbooks for Accounts Payable
  • Processing incoming & outgoing mail
  • Keep track of company records and documents - filing & cloud storage
  • Addressing customer’s accounting issues - collecting past due accounts
  • Other reasonable tasks

  • Good working knowledge of small business bookkeeping – 2-years’ experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills - assisting customers & staff with courtesy & tact
  • Experienced with QuickBooks – online & desktop
  • Exceptional attention to detail – with high level of accuracy
  • Must be able to multi-task & be flexible in assignments – bookkeeping & administrative
  • Proficient knowledge of various basic software programs – Excel & Word
  • Dependable, Reliable, Trustworthy & Loyal – shows up on time
  • Eager to work in a small business environment
  • Pleasant demeanor and professional presence
  • Capability to work independently
