We are a 47-year old family-owned and operated business looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team in the fast-paced golf cart sales, service, and rental market of SWFL! The primary purpose of this role will be to maintain our financial records which will require working with our management software for Quickbooks integration, and occasionally accountant for tax purposes. Duties of the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant include keeping up-to-date financial records, providing administrative support to our managers by fielding incoming customer requests, and assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Bookkeeping proficiency and astuteness is the primary requirement for this role, although customer service excellence is also needed at times of high traffic. Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant responsibilities include preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems, as the ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be extremely organized. Precision is more important than speed; quality of work over quantity of work. If you have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity with retail sales and operations, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant will help ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office, and ensure our financial records are current.
