Job Details: The Birth Registrar is responsible for coordinating all activities relating to the completion and filing of birth certificates with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) via electronic transmission within required time frames and according to state guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: Experience: General office experience and data entry skills required; experience in a health care setting preferred Education: A high school diploma or equivalency required Other: The individual performing this job may reasonably anticipate coming into contact with human blood and other potentially infectious materials.
