Become A Billing Clerk for First Transit!

First Transit is now hiring a Billing Clerk to ensure accurate accounting records for receipts and/or disbursements. This position performs a variety of complex clerical and entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks, applies accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records, and prepares financial, statistical, and/or technical reports.

The Billing Clerk will assist the location Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Effective business communication with employees and management
• PC Skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
• Basic bookkeeping/accounting knowledge

Ideal candidate will have:

• experience inputting, gathering, and summarizing data for billing and financial purposes
• knowledge or ability to learn to audit financial transactions
