We are a growing medical management and billing company, performing back office operations for several medical companies. Our services include billing, medical records, insurance verifications, supplies/logistics, and more. We are a small office, with a friendly and communicative atmosphere.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Billing/Collections member who is professional, motivated, and proactive. This employee works with the team to ensure any missing or late payments are collected in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has a passion for medical billing, and a keen desire to keep the billing operations functioning efficiently. Essential Functions

· Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies

· Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date

· Prepare bills and invoices, and document amounts due to medical procedures and services

· Monitor and record late payments. Help patients develop patient payment plans

· Follow-up on missed payments and resolve financial discrepancies

· EOB Lookups and reporting from payer portals

· Examine patient bills for accuracy and request any missing information

· Investigate and appeal denied claims

· Compile Worker’s Comp claim and medical notes for billing

The position will be half in-office, and half remotely. A standard 30 hour/week, Monday through Friday with regular office hours.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum 1 year of hands-on medical billing experience

Experience using a variety of claims systems

General knowledge CPT & ICD-10 coding familiarity is a must

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc), DropBox, and Google WorkSpace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Benefits:
