Warehouse Associate

Impact is searching for a dedicated warehouse associate to receive and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within our flooring warehouse. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that our product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner, that proper inventory is maintained, and good house keeping and warehouse standards are upheld.

Duties/Responsibilities*

- Assist with shipping and receiving, loading & unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers to pick up and deliver freight
- Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Filling sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated assembly area.
- Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Weighing and counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness/cleanliness at all times.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Gathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Education and experience*
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
- Must have experience and ability using computer programs
- Valid Driver’s license required
- 1-year experience in warehouse work environment preferred.
- Flooring Industry knowledge is a plus

Physical demands
- Warehouse facility is not climate controlled and may experience extreme temperatures.
- Requires up to 8 hours of standing/walking (with breaks).
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
