Big Woods Restaurant Group is looking to hire a Local Store Marketing Specialist.
Big Woods. is a local, homebrewed company that started in a Nashville, Indiana alley as single bar and brewery. In 10 short years, we have expanded to multiple restaurant locations and added a large brewery and distilling company. Big Woods is dedicated to serving Indiana with the finest local brews, cocktails and midwestern comfort food.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and provide support to the marketing department in the development, coordination, and implementation of marketing programs that support sales and increase brand awareness.
- Develop store- specific marketing programs that build guest loyalty, guest counts, check average, and overall sales.
- Develop and implement innovative companywide sales contests and quarterly General Manager calendar of initiatives to drive sales.
- Research market conditions in the local area and gather information to determine potential sales.
- Proactively build relationships with neighboring businesses, hotels, etc to improve sales.
- Help develop and execute ongoing charitable and community events that position Big Woods as a community leader.
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations team in creating a year long marketing calendar. Implement the calendar on designated campaigns.
- Attend events and produce social media content.
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics and program results.

Requirements:
- A degree in Marketing or another related field.
- Clear, concise, and great communication skills.
- Experience within the restaurant/beverage industry.
- Ability to demonstrate creative, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to work as a team player- this role will require you interact with many cross-functional teams.
- Must have strong time management skills and organization skills.
- Must be flexible and adaptable.
- Must have great attendance and punctuality.
