We are looking for an experienced professional to support our corporate benefits operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising benefits-related activities directing the activities of the Corporate Benefits team. This is a supervisory level position requiring experience in benefits administration. Knowledge of the Ceridian Dayforce payroll platform is a plus. A background in multilocation shared services is beneficial for this candidate. Candidates for this role should have strong communication skills, strong managerial skills, ability to build strong professional relationships, display a high degree of ownership, and possess a strong work ethic. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The position supervises a staff of Benefits Coordinators who research, analyze, evaluate, and administer Corporate Benefit programs/ plans. Responsible for overseeing the integrity of benefits eligibility, enrollments, and internal employee service. Responsible to develop and controls all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization's benefits processing objectives, including relationships with vendors, internal and external auditors and state and federal agencies. This position will report to the Director of Payroll & Benefits. • Oversee the benefits administration process over Health & Welfare Plans, 401k, and other retirement plans • Manage and oversee the annual and monthly enrollment process for all employee benefits • Coordinate with Director of Payroll & Benefits & IT support analysts on new payroll benefit implementations and system setups to manage changes in HRIS system including Benefits projects for new features, new vendors • Coordinate with HR and the Director of Payroll & Benefits on new corporate employee benefit orientations, and preparation of orientation presentations • Working Benefits Coordinators to develop recommendations for process improvements • Oversee the LOA administration processes handled by the Benefits Department • Prepare monthly reports on department KPI’s and monitor department productivity • Ensure that the company benefits policies are compliant with Federal and state regulations • Consult with employees on questions about eligibility and plan features CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will be willing to learn new products, processes, and technology. Job Requirements • Previous benefits supervision experience (3 years plus) • Federal and State tax laws knowledge • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) • Knowledge of benefits processes: eligibility, benefit deductions, taxes, FMLA/LOA experience, Work Comp experience, STD/LTD experience • Knowledge of benefits plan requirements and annual enrollment requirements • Must be detail-oriented • Possess strong time management skills • Knowledge of multi-state laws • College degree (business, HR or law preferred)
