Position Summary Responsible for overall administration of employee group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, FSA plan and HSA plans). Also responsible for employee FMLA and related leave administration activities. Position Responsibilities Independently manage all Leave Administration activities, including FMLA, STD, LTD, personal leave and non-medical leaves of absence. Respond to leave requests in a timely manner, meet with employees to explain leave process, Initiate and maintain communication with employee throughout leave process. Ensure that benefit documents are processed in a timely manner and are appropriately maintained. Assist employees with benefits utilization, carrier questions, claim concerns and other benefit-related activities. Serve as primary point of contact for benefit communications by answering employee questions and establishing direct relationships with the company broker and insurance carrier contacts. Serve as the point person throughout the annual Open Enrollment process, including structuring the Open Enrollment session in HRIS system Reconcile monthly benefit carrier statements in a timely manner, working in conjunction with the Accounting/Finance department and vendor contacts to ensure accurate processing, and coordinating OE sessions, etc. Work in conjunction with HR to coordinate company Wellness Program initiatives and serve as a point of contact with wellness representatives from carriers and other associated vendors. Work in conjunction with HSE to ensure Workers’ Compensation claims are coordinated with other leave time, as applicable. Support HR Management in benefits utilization review and design of benefit plans at annual renewal. Perform weekly benefits orientation process for all new hires, explaining benefits when needed and outlining enrollment steps. Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
