PTS, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to provide school-based services for a local school district in MontgomeryCounty, PA:

  • Full-time or part-time available; hours fall within a normal school day and will vary depending on primary and secondary caseloads.
  • This position will be for the 22-23 school year.

Responsibilities:
A Behavior Technician provides 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

  • Assist the BCBA in implementing behavioral programming in a home and/or school setting.
  • Collect data on all programming and writes progress notes.
  • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Participate with all other interdisciplinary team members.
  • With the BCBA, instruct team members on proper implementation of various ABA programs and behavioral interventions.
  • Attend team meetings as required.
  • Immediately report to BCBA any incidents/variances or complaints.
  • Adhere to Agency standards and consistently interprets and accurately performs all assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintains acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills through daily documentation.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • One year experience preferred
