Job DescriptionA Program Manager serves in the field as the onsite case supervisor and leader, mastering daily case management skills, including developing and overseeing clinical programs, supervising BIs and providing education and training for client caregivers. You must be willing to drive 30 to 60 miles a day, and able to supervise client sessions anytime between 8AM and 8:30PM on weekdays, and occasionally on weekends. The PM provides the clinical knowledge, leadership, feedback, insights and instructions to promote the success of each assigned client case, as measured by these primary business results:

  • Effective supervision and utilization of all assigned PM and BI hours in order to optimize Client Progress
  • Customer Satisfaction with our services due to Client Progress and Customer Service that client families observe and experience through daily work with the BIs under your supervision. A critical element of your contribution to Customer Satisfaction is cultivating parents’ understanding and buy-in to the program you develop and manage assigned BIs to implement
  • Employee Satisfaction of your colleagues (your supervisors, BIs under your supervision, and admin colleagues) with the quality of their collaboration and interaction with you; direct reports are loyal to supervisors who invest in their personal and professional development and support their success
  • Revenue is maximized when service hours assigned to your clinical team are rendered. in full, client progress and customer satisfaction retains assigned clients and attracts new referrals, and BIs are developed and retained (reducing turnover, recruiting and training costs)
Under your supervision, you ensure that:
  • Your assigned client families experience a consistent high quality clinical practice, impactful client progress and excellent customer satisfaction. Through your provision of direct services to clients, you serve as a clinical and professional connection between your supervisor(s), direct report BIs and your clients
  • Your assigned BI team experiences high quality professional development and success in their roles, as appropriate for their level of experience and stage in professional development. You will provide oversight, feedback, mentoring and encouragement to produce trained and professional BIs and optimize their success.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clear, concise, constructive and actionable communications, insights, feedback to staff and client families with professionalism, HR-compliant language and a spirit of customer service
  • Efficiently produce each client’s clinical programs, reports and other supervision documents accurately and completely in compliance with contracted (billable) hours
  • Directly supervise, train and support BIs, from entry level to advanced, to successfully exhibit the necessary confidence and authority to build rapport with families and conduct effective sessions from Day 1, regardless of, and in alignment with, their personal level of experience
  • Provide coverage for peers during their absences and provide direct therapy to clients if the BI is absent and other coverage is not available
  • Respect the time of colleagues and client families by maintaining a punctual, consistent, reliable schedule, and inspiring others to reflect the same attitude and shared commitment
  • With an attitude of customer service, provide training and on-going support to caregivers and family members tailored to support their communication and learning styles, and cultural needs
  • Maintain courteous, regular and effective (timely and accurate) communication with client families and all colleagues (administrative and clinical)
  • Produce clinical and administrative duties and paperwork with accuracy and timeliness and in compliance with the contracted (billable) hours allotted
  • With a spirit of leadership and teamwork, attend and lead clinical team and training meetings
  • Comply with company’s policies, procedures, timelines and budgets
  • Represent Intercare as a brand ambassador at all times
Required Credentials:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Psychology or related field and either of the following:
  • Twelve (12) semester units in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) course work and one(1) year experience in designing and or implementing behavior modification intervention services; or
  • Two (2) years of experience designing or implementing behavior modification intervention services

  • Strong ABA and clinical skills
  • Self-disciplined: Able to schedule and attend client appointments and clinical team meetings with consistency, reliability and punctuality
  • Excellent written and spoken communication: Clear language, accurate grammar and spelling
  • Excellent time management skills: Understands how to allocate working day between billable hours and non-billable hours, onsite (direct) and in-office (indirect) supervision hours
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Builds rapport with clients and with colleagues, and cultivates rapport between clinical team and client family
  • Excellent team player attitude and customer service orientation: Aligned with organizational practices, and working in service to client families and colleagues, regardless of their position
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
