Come check us out!!! OPTIONAL Guidelines for Determining Human Services Field For Children’s Habilitation Intervention Services IDAPA 16.03.09.571.09. Human Services Field. A diverse field that is focused on improving the quality of life for individuals. Areas of academic study include, but are not limited to, sociology, special education, counseling, and psychology or other areas of academic study as referenced in the Medicaid Provider Handbook. If an individual has one of the following bachelor’s degrees, they meet the minimum degree requirements for Intervention Technician (16.03.09.575.02) or Intervention Specialist (16.03.09.575.03). Human Services Degrees: Human Service Family Relations/Family and Child Services Counseling (General, MH, Vocational, Pastoral, Rehabilitation) and Guidance Psychology Nursing Education/Special Education Sociology Child Development/Human Development Social Work Therapeutic Recreation Marriage and Family Therapy Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Music Therapy Behavioral Sciences/ABA In some cases, the degree title on the individual's diploma may include a specific discipline within a human service field. Those degrees meet the requirement. For example, the degree conferred states "educational psychology" or "counselor education” they would meet the human services degree requirement. If an individual’s bachelor’s degree is not listed above their transcript can be reviewed to determine if it contains human services coursework that meets the requirement as outlined in IDAPA 16.03.09.575.03.b. The transcript must contain at least 24 semester credits, or equivalent (quarter credit/trimester, etc.), in a human services area, listed above or in the following areas. Transitions, Inc is looking to hire Behavior Intervention (BI) Technician staff to work with children and young adults ages 3-21; you will help clients improve in life skills and learn to manage their behavior problems. Must be within 18 months and 24 credits of completing your bachelor degree in a human service area, such as psychology, social work, sociology, education, etc. (see below). Must be willing to complete 40 hour online Registered Behavior Technician course. Looking to fill Full Time positions (30-40 hours/week) AND Part Time positions (10-25 hours/week).
