Bartender
Job Summary
Our new billiards parlor in south Austin is searching for an experienced Bartender who is familiar with a wide variety of drink recipes and can deliver quality customer service. Clear communication skills, patience, and attention to detail are crucial to achieve this goal. Bartenders must be able to work with the entire staff.
Bartender Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver a high level of customer service
- Maintain effective cash controls at the bar
- Keep the bar area clean in accordance with company guidelines and requirements of the Austin Health Department
- Maintain inventory controls
- Prepare drinks consistently to recipe as outlined in the company guidelines
- Maintain an efficient pace of service that keeps customers in the bar and players on the floor satisfied
- Effectively communicate with management and staff about any issues
Bartender Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma/GED required
- Current TABC certification in good standing
- 1 or more years’ experience working as a bartender
- Must be able to free pour in a consistently accurate manner
- Must be able to lift 30-pound boxes and stand for an 8-hour shift
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required
- Ability to work as a member of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $3.00 - $4.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees must wear a mask while on shift. All customers must wear a mask when not seated. All pool table and equipment to be sanitized in between customer rentals. All other surfaces to be sanitized often throughout the day.
Experience:
- Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- TABC Certification (Preferred)
