What you will be doing:

• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists, menu items, and preparation methods
• Supervise the Banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
• Assist Banquet Team in all food and beverage items for assigned banquet meetings
• Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Extensive knowledge in beer, wine liquor and food preparation
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
• Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
• Previous Captain Experience in a Luxury Environment Preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Constant lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
