Pinterest is one of the fastest growing platforms on the internet to connect visual content creators with millions of people seeking inspiration for their offline lives. The Measurement Attribution team, entirely based in Seattle, matches conversion events from creators, merchants and advertisers and attributes them to actions taken by our millions of users. This attribution is critical to measuring the true value of Pinterest as well as being critical in downstream ranking and targeting systems to grow our ability to connect millions of people with content that inspires them.
What you’ll do
- Help lead a team of 6 - 8 engineers responsible for delivery of attribution products
- Drive both short term execution and long term engineering strategy for Pintest’s attribution products
- Work closely with cross functional partners in Seattle (PM, Data Science), San Francisco/New York (Sales, Strategy, etc) as measurement is a cross-company cutting initiative
- Lead your team by example, grow individuals in their careers, and provide support and oversight to allow your team to become their best selves
What we’re looking for:
- At least 7 years experience
- Experience with designing, building, delivery, and maintenance of accurate large scale data processing backends
- Technical depth to ensure growth of team members, describe and vet solutions to both peers and non-engineers and manage risk/timelines
- Individuals looking to work in a close, collaborative group to solve problems impacting key business metrics
- Ability to influence decisions across teams/sites and prioritize projects with the input of various stakeholders
