Employment Type : Full-Time

We're looking for a solid backend engineer with excellent Python skills and **at least 2 years of development experience inside a well-oiled dev team.**

In addition to general backend development, you will take over significant portions of our web platform, including such areas as:
* IOT: Adding new devices to our platform using either standard APIs, standardized data formats or the back door.
* 3D Geometry: Related to nesting, 3D visualization of geometries and more

Your main skills and experience will be:
* Background tasks (Experience writing server side code and writing webapps)
* Integrations with APIs (Understanding of RestAPIs)
* Good Software Engineering Fundamentals, experience with Agile development practices, Sprints and the like
* Design Database Schemas API endpoints
* Good working knowledge with Git, vim other automation tools
* Good communication skills

Some nice to have areas are:
* 3D Geometry
* File Formats
* Interest in data standards.

Must Haves:
* 2 years development experience inside a development team (not freelance, or just out of coding bootcamp!)
* Strong at Python

Nice to have languages would be: Scripting/Automation/Bash, SQL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
