Bachelor’s Level Clinician (TT&S) - Bilingual

We're looking for a Bachelor’s Level Clinician (TT&S or Therapeutic Training and Support Worker)to work as part of a team that includes an In-Home Therapist (IHT), for the purpose of treating a youth’s mental health, behavioral and emotional needs, including improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her healthy functioning within the family.


The Bachelor’s Level Clinician (TT&S or Therapeutic Training and Support Worker) supports the implementation of a treatment plan to assist the youth and family in achieving the goals and objectives of that plan.


The service provided by the Bachelor’s Level Clinician (TT&S or Therapeutic Training and Support Worker) includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth’s emotional and mental health needs.

Duties:

  • Works under the supervision of an In-Home Therapist to support the implementation a treatment plan to assist the youth and the family in achieving the goals of the plan.
  • Teaches the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth's emotional and mental health needs.
  • Provides phone contact as part of the intervention.
  • Reviews/ and develops a risk management/safety plan in collaboration with the youth and caregiver.
  • Works with the In-Home Therapist to provide family therapy.
  • Identifies community resources and develops natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain the achievement of the youth’s treatment plan goals and objectives.

  • Provides or secures support and crisis/emergency services for the youth/ and family.
  • Demonstrates ability to be innovative, creative, analytical, and decisive in problem-solving.
  • Demonstrates communications and organizational capabilities.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to contextual variables such as race, culture, gender, sexuality, disability, economics, and lived experience.
  • Submit detailed progress notes that follow federal, state, and agency requirements.
  • Collaborates with other necessary individuals the youth and family may have contact with, such as Bureau Case Managers, Probation Officers, Judges, District Attorneys, Attorneys, Teachers, Physicians, etc.


Required Skills
  • Bilingual - fluent English & Spanish
  • Minimum Experience Required: 1 year
  • Degree Required: Must possess an MCE approved Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field
  • Driver’s License and proper auto insurance required
  • Awareness and sensitivity to contextual variables such as race, culture, gender, sexuality, disability, economics and lived experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
