SEI has a challenging career opportunity for an Azure DevOps Engineer within the cloud enablement team. The optimal candidate will demonstrate the technical know-how to develop programs for IaC with an in-depth understanding of Azure. The key responsibilities include - IaC development, NFR considerations for application deployment and scaling, monitoring production and support

What you’ll do:
Primary responsibility is to develop and maintain the Infrastructure as code needs of the Azure enterprise landing zone.
Works with other members on the cloud enablement team as well as a consultant to application teams on the adoption of best practices as well as coding guidelines for consuming azure infrastructure and services.
Build and maintain CI/CD solutions for both application and infrastructure delivery
Utilize Terraform to ensure state is consistent
Ensure systems are operational and establish security guidelines
Work with developers to improve their experience publishing changes
Ensure alerting and support requirements are met
Work with Workload managers to ensure business and development needs are met

What you bring to the table:
BA/BS, in a related technical field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
Minimum of 5 years prior work experience working with an application development organization;
Proven experience with Microsoft Azure
Proven experience utilizing Terraform to produce infrastructure
Skills for developing, deploying & debugging cloud applications
Familiarity with DevSecOps methodology and tools
Proven ability to utilize Azure DevOps
Experience with automated provisioning of Dev/Test/Staging and Production environments using Infrastructure as a Code;
Experience with large scale clustering and multi node deployments
Assist in provisioning, managing, monitoring, and decommissioning Azure Cloud services/systems.
Assist and manage patch levels to ensure security services in the Azure Cloud environment are in compliance
Install and configure appropriate services, VMs and software in support of applications
Preferably Azure Certified DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ400)
