Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: This position will manage various product and lifecycle initiatives related to existing products such as the CareCredit Rewards Mastercard, and new products on the CareCredit roadmap in support of business growth. This role works closely with Management, Strategy, Finance, Sales, Digital, B2B, IT, and Marketing teams and engages key stakeholders to maintain a diverse road map of business-oriented and technical projects for the Consumer Marketing team. This responsibility includes (but not limited to) new product development, and end-to-end management of marketing programs and communications of varying levels of complexity. A successful AVP, Consumer Marketing will create and track detailed project plans for multiple projects in parallel, aggressively pursue tasks, provide regular status communications, raise issues with immediacy, involve key resources to coordinate resolution to achieve growth metrics as well as critical CareCredit CTQs. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities: Work directly with the VP, Consumer Marketing – CareCredit Rewards and team to execute programs/projects and monitor KPIs Development and execution of marketing programs driving usage in-network and in the world leveraging data and VOC gained through research Maintains detailed project documentation including project charters, product schedules, milestones, release plans, action items, issues lists, and risk management plans. Proactively manage project timelines and schedules ensuring key milestones are met on time Manages multiple large projects in parallel Partner with internal COE’s and other cross-functional leaders within Synchrony on new and existing initiatives Collaborate with team members to deliver cohesive and seamless customer experience Work closely with analytics to measure programs/campaigns, provide recommendations for budget and project optimization and efficiencies, and apply learnings for improvements on future programs Act as team lead for internal project management, collaboration, and archival tools Share responsibility for achieving key portfolio performance metrics Ensure compliance with all internal & external regulations Development and management of project budgets and forecasting in partnership with Finance Perform other projects and duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 8 years of experience in Marketing and/or Project Management A minimum of 5 years marketing experience in one or more of these areas (can be concurrent): Experience in channel communications including direct mail, email, social media, website execution/project management Experience in consumer, loyalty and/or retail marketing Experience leveraging analytic and creative marketing skills to drive volume for consumer-facing programs/products Experience in credit card or financial services marketing experience, or healthcare financing Ability to travel as needed Desired Characteristics: MBA Strong process and project management skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross functional teams, both internally and externally Demonstrated client management interpersonal skills and experience; Client relationship experience a plus Solid leadership skills, initiative, high energy, and strong results orientation Consumer finance and/or retail marketing experience with an understanding of core financial drivers Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills within all levels of the organization Self-starter with experience leveraging analytic and VOC tools to quickly identify areas of significant opportunity Proficiency with collaboration tools including Workfront Ability to perform in a team environment Proven ability to interface well with internal functional depts. Ability to handle multiple ongoing complex projects in fast paced environment Advertising agency experience a plus Eligibility Requirements: You must be 18 years or older You must have a high school diploma or equivalent You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement). The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
