Avionics Install Technician - Full Time with Overtime Available The ideal Avionics Install Tech must be familiar with general aircraft instrumentation and communication/navigation systems. Candidates must also be able to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams. Individual must be familiar with basic avionics test equipment such as multimeters, time domain reflectometers, air data test sets, etc. Able to Fabricate Instrument Panels and Doublers for Antenna Installations. Capable of performing 91.411 and 91.413 Certifications. FAA A&P License is not required but preferred. Has 5+ years hands-on single and twin engine General Aviation Piston & Turbine Engine aircraft experience. Principal Duties and Responsibilities In a nutshell, you'll be removing old systems and installing new avionics equipment as well as integrating with old systems in Part 135 & 91 aircraft. This involves a lot of different stages of work; removing, documenting, recommending, installing, post-install test and/or trouble shooting and debriefing the job.
