Responsibilities and Qualifications: The Technician Trainee's primary goal is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The purpose of this position is to train to become a service technician, working in cooperation with the Team Leader and/or Trainer to learn the shop process and how to use available shop resources.
  • Must be able to drive and operate vehicle
  • Perform the procedures with the assistance of Team Leader and/or Trainer while training toward Certification. (See Technician Job Description)
  • Examine vehicle and discusses with the Team Leader the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
  • Plan work procedure in cooperation with the Team Leader and/or Trainer
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
  • Able to obtain State Inspector’s license
  • Adhere to dress code in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standards
  • Keep work area clean and tidy in accordance with dealership standards
  • Know and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and utilize the program to achieve client satisfaction
  • Know and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policy, and adhere to its requirements
  • Attend weekly department meetings
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for three or more hours at a time
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirements
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
