OVERVIEW

Lucky’s Auto Service Center is looking for a motivated, full-time Master Automotive Mechanic with 5 or more years of experience for our Salt Lake auto shop. Come join our Recon team, and maintain and repair vehicles. Perform all repairs & preventative maintenance required by company vehicles, in accordance with all local, state, and federal guidelines in addition to company standards.

Position Type: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Wage: $17.00 – $35.00/ Flat Rate

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of automotive technician experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Drivers license with good driving record
• Safety Emissions Certifications
• ASE Certifications
• Able to work full time hours (40 per week) and lift more than 50 lbs.
• Be self-motivated and able to maintain productivity without detailed direction
• Have reliable transportation
• Detail oriented and be able to change tasks quickly
• Troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicular issues accurately
• Repair vehicles with mechanical and electrical issues
• Report to supervisors daily, weekly, and monthly regarding workflow
• Have knowledge of diagnosing, repairing and/or replacing: engines, transmissions, clutch, timing belts, and other automotive systems
• Abide by all local, state, and federal guidelines in addition to company standards
• Provide occasional general customer service
• Sustain a positive and optimistic attitude

WAGES

Pay is flat rate hour. We typically have dozens of vehicles on hand, ready to be worked on immediately. Earning potential is unlimited.

Wage: $17.00 – $35.00/ Flat Rate, $40,000 to $85,000 a year

Bonuses: Bonuses awarded upon meeting dealership goals
