Larson Automotive Group is seeking experienced Accounts Payable Clerks to join our corporate accounting office. To be considered, candidates must have automotive Accounts Payable experience, be well organized, detail oriented, and thrive in a face paced dealership environment. Our Accounts Payable Clerks, under the general supervision of Office Managers, ensure that all vendor invoices are paid accurately and timely, maintain an organized and up to date accounts payable record, and prepare checks. Responsibilities:

  • Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
  • Prepares accounts payable checks.
  • Posts all open items in accounts payable daily.
  • Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
  • Reconciles all factory and vendor statements and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules.
  • Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager.
  • Assists in monthly closings.
  • Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.


Qualifications:

  • Automotive Accounts Payable experience 1-2 years.
  • Familiarity with accounting software programs.
  • CDK experience a plus.
  • Ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets.
  • Strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Professional communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
