Major Responsibilities Include:
- Being part of the sales and design team supporting multiple storage projects
- Providing drafting and design support utilizing AutoCAD
- Creating drawings for the various stages of a project including Concept, Submittal, Approval, and Installation
- Supporting design team by preforming onsite inventory check as required
- Supporting design team with material counts and/or BOM generation
- Interfacing with sales, project management and other CAD Drafter/Designers
- Supporting the development of technical documents for equipment to meet project needs
- Supporting design team in answering technical questions from Sales, PM, supplier, and/or field
- Supporting design team in providing installation contractor or customer project related information
- Providing timely project status updates
- Supporting design team with details and visibility to potential budget variances
- Providing QA/QC checks on drawing packages as required
- Reviewing supplier proposals as required
- Working with suppliers to coordinate drawings and review acknowledgements
- Conducting site visits to determine and validate field dimensions or current conditions
- Following and providing input for improvement of drawing quality and process
- Work to expand knowledge of industry best practices and latest technology

- Being reliable and providing timely responses and consistent follow-up internally and externally
- Attending company training as required
Required Qualifications:
- 2 year engineering and/or drafting degree from an accredited program and/or relevant experience
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of larger team
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Flexible and approachable
