Body Shop Technician$16.00 - $26.00 per hour - Based on Experience

Our Company provides large transportation companies with tractor & trailer maintenance solutions, collision repair and heavy-duty parts sales.

Schedule (subject to change):
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Additional hours are anticipated and required

Position Purpose:

To analyze, assess and fix damaged Tractors or Trucks. Work can include repairing, replacing and refinishing outer body parts. Collisions Mechanics complete all needed repairs keeping quality, safety, and expediency at the forefront.
Train, motivate and assist technician staff as a shop leader. Communicate and liaise among the Company’s leadership/employees, customers, and affiliates. Uphold company standards of quality and safety.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Panel replacement and or repair
  • Fiberglass repair
  • Collision related mechanical diagnostics
  • Welding and Fabrication
  • Wiring and electrical diagnostics
  • Priming and painting
  • Train other employees, as needed
  • Other duties/responsibilities, as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher with one (1) years heavy duty tractor collision repair
  • High school Diploma with five (5) years heavy duty tractor collision repair experience
  • Must be able to work in various working conditions and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to bend or crouch and sit for long periods of time
