We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our Medical Property Management team. Our team’s priorities are:
Providing an experiential approach which guides a differentiated property management experience, resulting in better care and better business

What this job involves
Support General Manager in overall management, leasing and client service delivery of institutionally owned medical office buildings
Ensure appropriate and timely response to physicians/tenant needs and requests
Ensure appropriate and timely response to client needs and requests
Manage small construction projects and work closely with Project Managers on larger projects affecting assigned sites
Ensure compliance with regional and national initiatives and require local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of medical office space
Must have general knowledge of building infrastructure and environments, i.e. HVAC, parking lots, roofs, etc.
Perform periodic inspections and coordinate the maintenance and repairs of building system such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interiors, structures, roofs, etc.
Capability to manage all operating and capital budget activities, as required, including budgeting, forecasting, AR, AP, reporting, and lease administration
Respond to emergencies, coordinate resources and provide appropriate guidance in managing emergency situations
Work with account team to establish and manage emergency preparedness and response plans and activities
Knowledge of LEED and/or Green Globes
Managing industry changing properties
As the Assistant General Manager (AGM), you will manage a small portfolio and/or work alongside the General Manager to assist in managing a medical office portfolio. Multi-tasking and flexibility are essential skills needed in this role. Preparing financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, engaging with tenants and ensuring our clients receive outstanding customer service will be the keys to success.

Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred. A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
Minimum of three (5) years of commercial real estate or property management experience is required
Experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial reports is required
Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Yardi ABF, Capital Tracker, Procore, Word, Excel, Power Point is required
Computer proficiency
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior level management, clients, tenants, vendors, peers and the public.
Experience with LEED and/or willing to acquire LEED Certification
Texas Real Estate Licenses is required
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and supervisory skills
Ability to work in high pressure atmosphere
Ability to work independently, strong organizational and time management skills
A relationship builder
Both verbal and written communication skills are vital, and, of course you’ll be good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients.
