Job Description

Come practice at just the right pace—we offer flexible scheduling for work/life balance with no on-call duties. Mansfield Animal Clinic in Mansfield, TX is a fast-paced, AAHA accredited hospital and We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian who will partner with our Medical Director to build an environment that is client and staff friendly and strives to provide professional, timely attention to every animal that comes through our doors.

We see a variety of cases, from wellness visits to complex workups. Would you like to do more? We are open to all ideas! This hospital has room to enhance our services. Are you interested in:

Our collaborative doctors enjoy minor orthopedic surgery and would be excellent mentors for you if you desire.

Want to work 3 days a week? That's ok! Want to work 5 days a week? That's ok too!!


Qualifications
  • Open to Veterinarians with 2+ years of experience.
  • Must have DVM OR VMD from an AVMA accredited institution.
  • Have a license to practice veterinary medicine in TX or able to acquire a license and in good standing.
  • DEA licensure is preferred.
  • Must have a passion for learning and improvement, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Take pride in offering diligent care, ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood.
  • Support all other medical personnel, including veterinary technicians and assistants, and help will guide as a mentor to develop the clinical staff.
  • Require confidence and proficiency in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.
  • Availability to take evening or weekend shifts in cases of emergency.
