Independent Hill Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited hospital in Manassas, VA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian who shares our passion for pets and their families. Our mission is to provide outstanding medical and surgical care to our patients and excellent client experience to their families. We focus on work, life, and family balance, with no on-call duties as after-hours emergencies are referred to a local ER. For over 25 years, our staff has helped thousands of pets, including dogs and cats, live healthier, longer-lasting lives. You will join our team of dedicated veterinary professionals and provide general practice care, well and non-well case work-ups, a reasonable surgical caseload (spays, neuters, soft tissue, and other types), and dentistry. You will provide clear communication with clients and help develop medical personnel including veterinary technicians and assistants. Supporting you in these endeavors, we offer: an in-house lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser therapy. As part of the PetWell team, you will have access to veterinary professionals both locally and nationally, ranging in experience and skillset, who are willing and committed to seeing their peers' growth. The support structure offers additional resources for medical cases, management issues, and cultural topics. You must meet the minimum qualifications of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD), License to practice medicine in Virginia or the ability to acquire one, DEA License. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with two or more years of experience practicing Veterinary medicine, and proficiency in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Candidates will also receive consideration for demonstrating a passion for learning and improvement, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
